Staging and Property Protection

Sometimes a job takes a lot more than tear-off and installation of new roofing materials. Most jobs actually require scaffolding, safety measures, and property protection procedures. The process of a roofing installation requires planning and organization. We are confident that each one of our foreman are PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS with the client's needs in mind at all times and that they have accurately mapped out the course of each project.

Debris Removal

We begin by removing all old shingles or other roofing material, underlayment, pipe, chimney, wall and valley flashings.

Surface Preparation

Preparing decking (or rafters for new decking) by removing any nails staples or screws that may be problematic in installing the new materials.

Valley Metal

Valley metal is installed along valleys for true water tight protection at one of the most vulnerable spots on a roof.

Quality Underlayment and Watershielding We always use the best products available for our clients. Our crews start by installing drip edge metal on all edges to protect from wood rot. Ice and Watershield is rolled out at all eaves, ridges, and valleys. Then the remainder of the decking is made water tight with Winterguard felt underlayment. At this point the roof is ready for shingle installation.

Nail Shingle Installation

Our shingles are never installed with staples, NEVER. Correct ventilation is installed and the shingles and new flashings are then securely nailed to the deck as per manufacturer's specifications.

Property Clean Up

We clean up at the end of each day. We will run a magnet across the entire property to be sure that the work area is left safe and clean.
